Life, the Universe, and Everything Symposium
I had a great time at the annual Life, the Universe, and Everything sci-fi/fantasy symposium in Utah this past weekend. This was my first time attending. A special thanks goes out to my friend and fellow writer, Paul Benson, for starting me on the path of joining the wider writing community and selling my work.
Pictured is author Larry Correia (middle) surrounded by my fantastic writing group. From left to right, Brian Fuller (me), Paul Benson, Larry Correia, Linc Hansen, Andrew Adamson.
Highlights of the conference include having a critique session with James Wymore, who is an author and the Acquisitions Editor of Curiosity Quills Press, attending Orson Scott Card's keynote address, surviving a brutally frank panel session about selling your work, and hanging with my writing group in person.
The conference gave me some great pointers for improving and selling my writing. It's humbling to be around so many creative and talented people. I look forward to meeting more at LDS Storymakers in April!
